The test generator PG 01-2000 is suitable for testing the insulation and the surge voltage resistance of electric and electronic electricity meters. The generator generates a standard surge voltage with a waveform of 0.1 / 2000 µs at no load. By means of the built-in divider 1000:1 the pulse voltage can be easily checked. The test voltage can be continuously adjusted from 4 kV - 10 kV. Triggering is done manually, but can also be done externally. Up to 32 device settings can be saved using the memory button. All changed parameters and button settings are saved. The EUT can be easily connected via an HV cable. The HV cable (1 metre) is included in the scope of delivery and is equipped with terminal strips on one side. This terminal strip must be integrated into a high-voltage insulated housing with contact protection. The pulse generator can be easily integrated into a 19" rack.
